When you upload a .txt file, the tool reads its contents using the FileReader API with UTF-8 encoding. It splits the text at each line break to identify individual paragraphs. Each paragraph becomes a separate Paragraph object inside the Word document structure, with your chosen font size applied through TextRun formatting. The tool uses the docx library to assemble these elements into a valid DOCX file, which follows the Office Open XML specification — a ZIP archive containing XML files that define document structure, styles, and content. The generated document opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice Writer, and Apple Pages without compatibility issues. Empty lines in the original text translate to blank paragraphs, preserving the visual spacing of your source file.
