How this Glitch Text Generator works

This text corruptor applies Unicode combining diacritical marks to create Zalgo-style glitched text effects. The algorithm wraps each character in stacks of combining marks—accent-like symbols designed to attach above, through, and below base characters—producing visual distortion that works across any Unicode-compatible platform.

Three intensity sliders control mark placement independently: up (above), mid (through strikethrough position), and down (below).
