Simple keeps functions short and flat. Medium adds loops and nested conditions. Complex allows deeper nesting and try/catch blocks in languages that have them. The line slider runs from 10 to 500 lines and the output always has exactly the number you choose.
What Makes the Fake Code Look Real
Real code has structure, so the generator plans the file before it writes it: imports first, then functions or a class sized to fit your line count. Variables get types that match how they are used, loops walk lists that exist, and Python blocks are never empty.
Names come from a developer vocabulary such as user, order, session and cache, written in each language style: camelCase in JavaScript and Java, snake_case in Python and Rust, PascalCase in C# and Go. Comments are optional.

This fake code generator writes source code that looks real but does nothing. It plans the file first: a few imports, then functions or a class sized so the output has exactly the number of lines you choose. Inside each function it remembers which variables it has declared and what type they are, so conditions, loops and returns only use values that exist and fit together.
Colors come from a small syntax highlighter that knows the keywords, types, strings, numbers and comments of each language. You can switch editor themes, hide line numbers, change the text size and choose whether comments appear. Type it out plays the code back one character at a time, and fullscreen turns the editor into a fake coding screen.
