What this tool does
The AI Story Continuer writes the part that comes next. You paste the end of a story, and it adds a new scene with the same characters, the same narrator, and the same language. It does not rewrite or summarize what you already have.
Writers use it when they are stuck between two scenes. Readers use it to see how a story could go another way. Students use it for "continue the story" exercises. In every case it gives you a draft to react to, and you decide what stays.
Length and direction
Two settings control the result. Length sets how much text you get back. Direction tells the AI what the next part should do.

How to continue a long story
The tool reads the last 3,000 characters you give it, about 500 words. A long story needs a short routine:
- 1Paste your last scene, not the whole manuscript.
- 2Press Continue Story and read the result. If it misses, change the length or the direction and try again.
- 3Press Add to my story to join the new text to yours. Edit anything that sounds wrong.
- 4Continue again. Every few rounds, add one sentence that reminds the AI of names or facts from earlier chapters, because it cannot see them.
Tips for better results
Paste full sentences
A few complete sentences give the AI a voice to follow. One short line does not.
End on an open moment
A question, a sound, or a half-made decision gives the next scene a place to start.
Use names, not pronouns
If your last paragraph only says "she", the AI may pick the wrong character. Name the person who acts next.
Match the direction to the scene
Plot twist works best when your text has already set up a few details to turn. Slow down and describe works well after a busy scene.
Using it for writing practice
Teachers often set "continue the story" exercises to practise plot, voice, and tense. Paste the opening of a story, give each student a different direction, and compare the results with what the students wrote themselves.
The tool works best as a second opinion. Ask students to write their own next paragraph first, then read the AI version and say what it does differently. Check the rules your school sets for AI tools before you use it for homework.
How the AI Story Continuer Works
The tool takes the last part of your story, up to the limit of the text box, and sends it to an AI model together with your length and direction settings. The model writes the next scene in the same language, voice, and point of view, and returns only the new text. Your own words are never changed.
The text leaves your browser to be processed, so the tool needs an internet connection and does not work offline. Do not paste anything private or anything you are not allowed to share. CodeItBro does not keep your story or the result. Only two copies remain: a short-lived copy of the result, which stops the same request from running twice, and a draft saved in your own browser so a refresh does not erase it. The AI provider handles the text under its own terms.

Choose a length and a direction
Short, medium, or long. Then say what should happen next: let the story decide, build tension, add dialogue, turn the plot, slow down, or head toward an ending.
Read the continuation
Press Continue Story. If the result does not fit, press Try another version for a new take on the same text.
Add it and keep going
Add to my story puts the new text under yours, so you can edit it or continue again. When you finish, copy the full story or download it as a text file.
