Videos these days are in high demand as more users now prefer watching videos to consume information as compared to other video formats. Depending on the type of your business, you may want to create videos accordingly to connect with your targeted audience. Short and sweet video explaining your business services or tutorials for educational training, you need tools and equipment to make amazing videos.
Creating quality videos is not a piece of cake. However, there are many simple tools to create videos online with which you can make presentable videos for your audience. In this tutorial, I will be sharing a free online video maker called FlexClip, which allows you to create educational and marketing videos in 4 easy steps.
You could say that FlexClip is both an easy-to-use video maker and online video editing software. It’s a tool that helps you create and edit videos with minimal effort. It supports many audio, video and photo formats, and lets you import your content with a simple drag and drop. You just have to use your imagination and creativity before sharing your creations with others.
It is, therefore, according to your needs that you will decide whether it is the right tool for you or not. But let’s take a closer look at the possibilities offered by FlexClip so that you can see for yourself.

How To Create Videos In 4 Easy Steps:
Step 1 – Create a Video Project
The main idea of FlexClip is that you can create short videos that can be a great way to get a message across.
You get a storyboard where you can build your video stories, as you can see in the screenshot below. You can use images, videos, text, and backgrounds. Best of all you can import your own photos and videos to add in your online video.
Additionally, the online video editor of FlexClip also allows you to convert the video format, merge videos, split videos, add a watermark, and other stuff.
Overall, the storyboard is fairly easy to use, but you will know more about how to set it up later. For now, let’s focus on what else FlexClip offers once you start editing your videos online.
To create a FlexClip video project, visit the website and create a free account. Please note that the free account has some limitations, which I have mentioned at the end of this tutorial and review.
Step 2 – Choose From Various Templates
If you are new to online video editing, it can sometimes be difficult to get an idea to get started.
Templates can offer great ideas for creating your promo or tutorial videos. FlexClip offers around 150 different templates for creating wedding, marketing, announcements, real estate agency video, social media videos, etc.
Types of templates:
- Business and Technology.
- Promo & Sales
- Holiday and events
- Social media templates – Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- YouTube, Facebook, Twitter Ads.
- Educational training.
After selecting a video template, you can customize its elements to make a video for your business.
Explore different templates, and I am sure you will find a good one to convey your idea. The next step involves customizing the template as per your idea by adding text, company logo, videos, and stock music.
Step 3 – Add text, logo, and music
You can easily add text or music to your video. The text will be added to each part of the video, while music will be for the entire video. After adding the text, you can change its font style, size, and make it italic, bold, and change its alignment. FlexClip also provides pre-made samples for logos and text together, as you can see in the screenshot above.
In addition to a large font library, FlexClip also gives you access to a huge music library and stock videos and photos to better define the story of your video.
You can find a lot of stock music that you can use. Search for music in the search bar or browse categories to find good audio for your video.
You can also duplicate slides in the Storyboard and choose different transitions to change how these slides appear in the video.
Step 4 – Export your video
After adding different slides on your Storyboard, you can preview how your video looks. If you think every component of your video is in the right place, you can choose to export the video as a .mp4 file.
The only downside of your free account is that you can only export videos at 480p resolution which looks fine but is not the greatest out there. However, with pro plans, you can export your video at 720p and 1080p resolution.
Click on the Export Video button on the top bar. Choose the video quality and the FlexClip will start processing the slides on your Storyboard to create a video. The processing can take a long time if you switch to a different tab of your browser. So, stay on the FlexClip tab to facilitate the quick export of your video.
