Comment fonctionne Hacker Typer

The keys you press are not the keys that show up. Behind the screen sits a prepared listing — a Node.js service, a Python pipeline, a Linux ops session, a security scan — and every keystroke reveals the next few characters of it. That is why the output stays clean and correctly indented however hard you hammer the keyboard, and it runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is executed, nothing is transmitted, and no system is touched.

Pick your scene

  • Eight scenarios, or paste your own code with Import Custom Code.
  • Matrix Green, Retro Amber, Modern Blue or High Contrast, in three monospace fonts.
  • Four speeds, from a slow deliberate crawl to turbo.
  • Syntax highlighting, line numbers, Matrix rain and a split two-panel terminal, each toggled from the toolbar.

The dramatic bits

Three quick presses of ALT throws up Access Granted; three of CAPS LOCK throws up Access Denied. SHIFT plus 1 through 5 fires breach, camera, GPS, file browser and database effects. ESC clears them. On a phone, tap the terminal instead of typing.

When you are filming

Auto-Type runs the whole thing hands-free, fullscreen removes the browser chrome, Copy Visible Output grabs the text on screen, and Share Setup produces a link that restores your exact configuration for someone else.

Questions fréquentes

What is Hacker Typer and what does it actually do?
It is a toy terminal. You press keys and lines of real-looking source code appear on screen, as if you were writing them at an impossible speed. It is the effect you have seen in films, minus any actual hacking.
Is this the original Hacker Typer, or Hacker Typer 2?
Neither. "Hacker typer" began as a single prank page and became the name for the whole genre, sequels and clones included. This is CodeItBro's own version. On top of the classic keyboard-mashing effect it adds eight scenarios, Access Granted and Access Denied screens, Matrix rain, auto-type, split view and shareable setups.
Does this tool hack anything?
No. It reads a block of text that ships with the page and prints it back to you a few characters at a time. It never connects to another machine, never runs the code it shows, and cannot reach any account, file or device.
Why doesn't the text on screen match the keys I press?
That is the whole trick. The tool ignores which key you hit and reveals the next few characters of a prepared listing. So the output is always clean, properly indented code no matter how badly you mash the keyboard.
How do I get Access Granted (or Access Denied) in Hacker Typer?
Press ALT three times in quick succession for the green Access Granted panel, or CAPS LOCK three times for the red Access Denied one. SHIFT plus 1 to 5 opens breach, camera, GPS, file browser and database effects. ESC clears whatever is showing.
Do you record or store what I type?
No. Your keystrokes only advance a counter in your own browser tab. Nothing is logged, nothing is sent to us, and nothing survives a page refresh.
What scenarios can I choose from?
Eight: Node.js backend, Python data pipeline, Linux ops session, security scan, encryption process, database query, network intrusion and system diagnostics. You can also import your own code in any language.
Can I use my own code instead?
Yes. Use Import Custom Code in the toolbar and paste any snippet you like. The longer the code, the longer the session runs before it loops.
Can I make it type on its own?
Turn on Auto-Type in the toolbar and pick a speed. That makes it hands-free, which is what you want for a stream backdrop, a looping display at an event, or a shot you need to film without touching the keyboard.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Tap the terminal to advance the code instead of typing. The toolbar controls and settings all work on a touch screen, though the keyboard shortcuts naturally do not.
Can I change how the terminal looks?
Pick from Matrix Green, Retro Amber, Modern Blue or High Contrast, three monospace fonts, and four typing speeds. You can also switch syntax highlighting, line numbers, Matrix rain and split view on or off.
Can I use this in a YouTube video, livestream, or short film?
Go ahead. There is no watermark, no account and no usage cap. Fullscreen gives you a clean shot with no browser chrome in frame.
How do I make Hacker Typer full screen?
Click Fullscreen in the terminal header or press Ctrl + Enter (Cmd + Enter on a Mac). The terminal fills the whole display with no tabs or address bar, and Esc takes you back. On an iPhone, Safari does not let pages go full screen, so the button may do nothing; turn the phone sideways instead.
Can I save or share the exact setup I built?
Copy Visible Output copies the text currently on screen. Share Setup builds a link that restores your scenario, theme, font, speed, syntax highlighting and split-view choices for whoever opens it.
Could using a fake hacking screen get me in trouble at school or work?
The tool itself does nothing wrong, but the prank can still land badly. Showing a fake breach screen to someone who believes it can trigger a real security report, and some schools treat that as a disciplinary matter. Say it was a joke quickly.
Why does my browser do something odd when I press certain keys?
The terminal takes over most keys while it has focus so the page does not scroll and quick-find does not open. Ctrl and Cmd shortcuts are deliberately left alone so copy, paste and reload still work.
